Golden Sands enjoys a superb location surrounded by countryside yet just a short stroll from the beach and heart of the resort. - At Golden Sands you are in easy reach of many popular attractions and fascinating places in this beautiful part of Devon. If you can tear yourself away from Golden Sands or from Dawlish Warren beach, there's plenty to do and see!
About a mile from Golden Sands is the little resort of Dawlish with its gardens and pretty stream - famous for its renowned black swans. Or you can go farther afield - Torquay, Paignton, Exeter, Brixham and Exmouth are all within easy driving distance. Perhaps spend a fascinating day exploring the majesty of Dartmoor and meet up with the wild ponies.
Whether its stately homes, country life museums, sleepy Devon villages or a visit to one of the many theme parks in the area, you'll find much to do on your days out.
There's lots of places to see and lots of things to do. Teignmouth's Victorian Grand Pier; Shaldon, a delightful Georgian waterside village with narrow streets and Regency cottages; Exmouth's clean beaches and lovely cliff walks.
There's plenty of literature available in reception and our friendly staff will be more than happy to give you additional information. Dawlish is a charming seaside town with a mixture of Regency & Victorian buildings, colourful gardens and superb beaches, and the famous Dawlish Black Swans.

- By Car:
Leave the M5 at junction 30 and take the A379 to Dawlish. Drive through Starcross and continue on the A379 for about 2 miles. The Park is signposted to the left of the road 1 mile before Dawlish. Go about 200 yards down Week Lane and the entrance is on the left.
By Train:
Do not book to Dawlish Warren but to DAWLISH where there are taxis and a bus service to the Park.
