Monkton Wyld Caravan Park is situated on the Dorset/Devon border. The caravan park has a warm and friendly atmosphere and has been run by Joanna and Simon Kewley, the park owners, since they opened it in 1991. Since then Joanna and Simon have gone to great lengths to develop an ideal holiday location for families and those who prefer a relaxing and spacious spot in the country. We are only a short drive from the coast. There are many popular attractions in the vicinity, safe, sandy bathing beaches, the Heritage Coastline, famous for its abundance of fossils and the countryside of West Dorset which is remarkably unspoilt and in many ways is quite unique.
The park has a large secure, caravan storage facility for short or long term use. Comprehensive site shop. WiFi service available.
In 2008 we developed an exclusive holiday homes park set in a separate area to the touring park. Most plots are now sold but last few still available. Contact us for further details - Other Facilities

Secure caravan storage facility - Tourist Attractions
- Cliff top18 hole golf course, horse riding, beach fishing on the chesil bank, Lyme Regis with fishing trips and ancient harbour, fossle hunting, National Trust properties, local walks from the park.

- Monkton Wyld Farm is located about 3 miles inland from Lyme Regis.
Directions:
From Charmouth take the A35 to Axminster, after approx. 1 mile ignore the turning on the right to Monkton Wyld but take the next turning right (signposted Marshwood). Monkton Wyld Caravan Park is 500m on your left.
From the M5 - Exit Junction 25 (Taunton) and follow A358 Ilminster and then continue on this road to Axminster. From Axminster take the A35 east towards Charmouth. After approximately 2 mile cross the county boundary into Dorset and immediately turn left. signposted with a brown tourism leisure sign on the junction. Monkton Wyld site is the second on the left 500m down the lane.
From the A303, it is advisable for caravans to exit at Ilminster and then take the A358 to Chard/Axminster and follow directions as above.
Caution. Access to Monkton Wyld Camping and Caravan Park is excellent, however, the road to Monkton Wyld hamlet itself is very steep and entirely unsuitable for towing vehicles. Please therefore ignore any signposts to to the village of Monkton Wyld. - Special Offers
