- Description
- Trench Farm Fisheries & touring park is a small site which opened in 2009 We are set in 180 acres of farm & woodland with lovely country walks.
There are 3 well stocked coarse fishing pools just a short walk from the park, you can pitch near to 1 pool and watch the wildlife early mornings and in the evenings, the fishing is available for our guests at no extra charge.
Our all weather pitches have 16 amp ehu, water & waste water disposal, all are on level ground. The shower & toilet facilities are finished to a very high standard.
The utility area, also known as campers kitchen is fully equipped with wash/up sinks, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, table & chairs.
Wildlife on the farm is abundant due to the way we have farmed over the past years ie by leaving our hedge rows to grow where ever possible and not being too clinical, this has created an ideal habitat for many species of bird, butterflies, insects etc; Do not be surprised if walking by the fishing pools you see a bright flash of blue/green as a Kingfisher darts by.
Barn, Tawny & Little owls are often heard at night, if you are lucky you may even see a Barn Owl looking for prey in the early evening. Other animals on the farm include Badgers, Foxes, Hares & Water Voles. - Tourist Attractions
